Dolphin Course #6 – Par 4, 382 yards

Warning: Alligators and snakes on course! For a boy from up north, not a sign I wanted to see as I approached the starter shack. When I asked about any danger and what I might encounter on the course, I got that stupid Yankee tourist look. The starter who barely took the time to speak with me, grinned and said, “the gators are probably finished sunning themselves so just stay out of the rough and bunkers. Their website states, “The Course welcomes locals and visitors alike”. I did not get that impression today. Read more →

Played the Golf & Pint (and pint and pint and burger and goose) Package today. The Sleeping Indian (holes 1-9); Cottonwood (holes 10-18); and Silo (holes 19-27) nines comprise this 27-hole facility. $25 for 9 holes of golf with cart and a beer – need to make sure I play all three 9’s to take advantage of this promotion.  Read more →

Passport√; drivers license√; AARP card√. Get all your identification in order as you will be asked for ID before entering this gated golf course community. Heritage Bay is open to the public, that is if you can produce identification. The Cypress, Oak, and Pine courses make up this 27-hole facility and the Cypress was the designated nine for this day.
