I have rated the courses with my own specially trained eye. However, that trained eye is 60+ years old and not as sharp as it once was. Whatever the rating, you’ve just spent time on a golf course playing a game. It sure beats the alternative.

| Birdie | Choose the road less traveled to play this hidden-gem course |
| Par | I would play it a second time, but maybe not a third |
| Bogey | Enjoy a day in the sun with the locals who call this course home |
| Double Bogey (or worse) | I think you get the picture |
